As an evaluation methods expert, Dr. Bernadette Wright, founder of Meaningful Evidence, frequently speaks about how to plan an effective program evaluation. Below are a couple of examples.
Three-hour workshop on program mapping, indicators, and action planning
In May 2019, Bernadette Wright presented a 3-hour workshop on “Program Evaluation that Works” with GrantSpace (formerly Foundation Center Northeast), in Washington, DC. Through demonstration, activities, and discussion, participants learned how to create a “map” visualizing understanding of their program, identify key indicators, and guide conversations around using results for action planning.
Two-hour workshop on six steps to program evaluation
In September 2017, Bernadette Wright presented “Six Steps to Program Evaluation” with the Center for Nonprofit Excellence in Charlottesville, VA. Using real-world examples, Wright introduced participants to the six steps to conducting an evaluation that shows funders your true effects and helps you to strengthen your program.
