Discussion panel on being an evaluation consultant
On Wednesday, September 25, 2019, from noon to 1:15pm in Washington DC, Kavita Mittapalli, Kirk Knestis, Bernadette Wright will participate in a Washington Evaluators discussion panel facilitated by Patricia Moore Shaffer. The panel will discuss what it takes to be an independent evaluation consultant or small business owner.
Seminar on practical mapping
On Tuesday, October 8, 2019, from 10am to noon, Bernadette Wright will speak about “Practical mapping: accelerating research and planning” at a University Seminar on Reflexive Systems at George Washington University in Washington, DC.
Three-hour workshop on evaluation planning for grant professionals
Matt Feldman, Asma Ali, & Bernadette Wright will be presenting a pre-conference workshop at the Grant Professionals Association national conference in Washington, DC on Nov 6, 2019. The workshop, “Evaluation 101 for Grant Professionals,” will be on Wednesday November 6, 2019, 1:00-4:00pm. Through discussion and activities, participants will gain an understanding of a 10-step evaluation planning framework that they can use for program planning and grant writing. We look forward to seeing you there.
Three-hour workshops on collaborative mapping
Bernadette Wright and Steve Wallis will be presenting at Evaluation 2019 hosted by the American Evaluation Association (AEA) in Minneapolis, Minnesota November 11 – 16. They will be presenting “Collaborative Mapping: Integrating Stakeholder Knowledge for Better Program Models” on Wednesday November 13, 2019, from 8am to 11am. In this advanced workshop, participants will learn and practice using collaborative mapping to create program models that are useful for evaluation planning and for designing programs with greater chances for success.
